Joyful Noise Children’s Center is a non-denominational Christian center and, while we feel that religious teachings are up to the parent, the A BEKA Curriculum we use does have a religious foundation. We will say a prayer before each meal and have regular circle time, which will include the telling of Bible stories. Sometimes God just comes up in conversation including when children begin to notice the difference between boys and girls. Answering that “God made us different” usually satisfies most preschoolers. We also have parties to celebrate Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and other holidays. We provide the care and education that you want for your child and we are dedicated to satisfying your needs and wishes as well as your child’s. The Most Experienced Licensed Child Care Service Provider
As Roanoke’s most experienced and dedicated child care service provider, Joyful Noise Children’s Center is licensed in the state of Virginia to care for up to 115 children from the ages of two to twelve. Our exemplary services include before-school care, after-school care, preschool, and daycare for children aged two to five. We even provide planned field trips throughout the year and a summer camp schedule so everyone knows where their child is at all times. Permission slips will cover trips for the summer.
Schedule to Keep Your Child’s Care on Track!
Our hours of operation are from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM during the week, with the exception of closings as referred to in the handbook. It is important that these hours are adhered to in order to ensure that your child’s care is on the right track. While the parents will be notified two weeks in advance of any closures, we also have Holiday closures that include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Notices will be posted for your information and convenience, and closures due to inclement weather will be announced on channel seven (WDBJ) and channel ten (WSLS). Each family also receives two weeks off for vacation each calendar year.
Reliable Transportation & Excellent Safety Measures
Transportation for after-school children will be provided by the county from various schools. Joyful Noise Children’s Center will be providing transportation for other schools and will be picking up children from Bonsack Elementary, Colonial Elementary, Greenfield Elementary, and Parkway Christian Academy. Emergency evacuation policies, alternate plans, and insurance information will be carried on the vehicles at all times. Children will be accounted for at the designated location before leaving and are required to wear the seatbelts on our bus to ensure safety. We are dedicated to providing or procuring the most reliable transportation services for your children so you can rest assured that they are in excellent hands at all times.
